my whole u-s-turning-30-adventure was inspired by wanting to celebrate in las vegas. i’ve always thought the city was trashy, o-t-t and fun - perfect for my 30^th! we rollercoastered-it-up, climbed the eiffel tower, inhaled huge buffets, partied at studio 54, zoomed through the dessert in a convertible, enjoyed a venetian gondola ride and worked-that-strip.

one of the absolute highlights was seeing cirque du soleil’s zumanity - an exploration of human sexuality. it was hot, saucy and hilarious. from the drag-queen-mc, to the lesbianesque-acrobat-dancers-in-a-glass-tank to some seriously-hot-muscle, it was breathtaking and strangely, not that crude. a big thanks to kris for buying me the ticket for my 30^th.

after growing up on l-a-tv, san diego made me finally realise the appeal of california. it was hot, the people were friendly and fit, and life was good.

other than shoes and nachos, san diego was a heap of fun. kris, mark, jadye and i explored little italy, checked out the gaslamp quarter and ate like pigs. here are the happy snaps.
